About Dr. Ronald D. Ross:

Ron Ross was born in Indiana while his father was giving a flight lesson to a Navy flight student during World War 2. After the war his father entered the ministry so he spent most of his growing up years in a parsonage in Iowa.

He entered college right out of high school and graduated from Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk, Nebraska with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1965. After graduation he was the pastor of a church in Kansas, then took his wife and two children to Zambia (located in central Africa) for seven-years in service to his denomination as a missionary.

Upon return to the United States he has pastored churches in Nebraska, Texas, and Colorado. He earned a Master of Divinity Degree at Creighton University in 1975 and a Doctor of Theology degree at Biblical Life College & Seminary in 1997.

The book, “Your Family Heritage, A Guide to Preserving Family History” was authored by Dr. Ross and is considered one of the seminal resources for oral history taking. He has lectured often for the Colorado Historical Society. He has also authored numerous articles for a variety of periodicals.

He has extensive publishing experience. He published several official football annuals for major universities, and Business Trend Magazine.

With the help of his wife, he began publishing Tidbits of Douglas County in 1997. Tidbits is a weekly entertainment tabloid paper distributed free throughout the county. The paper is one of the most successful Tidbits papers in the nation. He served as Dean of Tidbits University and wrote the curriculum for the three-day course taught to new publishers.

Dr. Ross is a gifted writer and speaker. He has been writing weekly motivational and inspirational columns for his paper for several years. He is compiling them into two books that will soon be published. He is invited to speak frequently at a variety of events.
